Infection Control Course

Digital Course Enrollment & No Refund Policy

*PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ENROLLING*

ALL SALES ARE FINAL — NO REFUNDS

The Barber & Beauty Institute of New York (BBINY) provides the Infection Control Course as a digital educational product. By enrolling and submitting payment, the participant is purchasing access to digital course content, educational materials, assessments, and other course resources made available as part of the program.

Because this is a *digital educational product* and participants may receive access to course materials immediately following successful enrollment and payment, *ALL SALES ARE FINAL.*

*NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER PURCHASE AND ACCESS TO THE DIGITAL COURSE HAS BEEN PROVIDED, except where otherwise required by applicable law.*

No Refunds for Non-Use or Non-Completion

BBINY will not issue a refund, cancellation, or credit because a participant:

•⁠ ⁠Changes their mind after purchasing the course;
•⁠ ⁠Decides they no longer want or need the course;
•⁠ ⁠Does not begin the course;
•⁠ ⁠Begins but does not complete the course;
•⁠ ⁠Does not access or use all available course materials;
•⁠ ⁠Fails to complete required lessons, quizzes, assessments, or other course requirements;
•⁠ ⁠Is unable to complete the course within their intended timeframe;
•⁠ ⁠Purchases the course but later determines that it does not meet their personal or professional needs; or
•⁠ ⁠Fails to obtain a certificate because course requirements were not successfully completed.

It is the participant’s responsibility to carefully review the *course description, requirements, eligibility information, course format, and other enrollment information before making payment.*

Digital Course Access

Upon successful enrollment and payment, the participant may receive access to BBINY’s digital learning platform and course materials.

Once digital access has been provided, the course is considered delivered for purposes of BBINY’s refund policy.

Participants are responsible for maintaining appropriate internet access, a compatible device, and a valid email address and/or telephone number necessary to receive course communications and access the course.

Technical Issues

If a participant experiences a legitimate technical problem that prevents access to the course, the participant should contact BBINY for assistance.

BBINY will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve verified technical access problems.

A technical problem does *not automatically qualify a participant for a refund*. When appropriate, BBINY may restore or extend access so the participant can complete the course.

Course Completion & Certificate

Enrollment and payment do not automatically guarantee successful completion or the issuance of a certificate.

Participants are responsible for completing all applicable course requirements, lessons, quizzes, assessments, examinations, and/or other requirements established by BBINY.

Failure to complete the required course components does not entitle the participant to a refund.

Payment Disputes

Participants should contact BBINY directly if they believe there has been a billing error or if they experience an issue accessing the course.

BBINY maintains enrollment, payment, course-access, login, participation, and completion records where available. These records may be used to document that course access and digital services were provided in connection with a payment dispute.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law or applicable payment-network rules.

REQUIRED ENROLLMENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT

*This acknowledgment should appear immediately before payment and should require the participant to check the box before completing the purchase.*
