Yes, a High School Diploma, Transcript, or G.E.D is required. Assistance is available for those who did not complete High School and have not attained a G.E.D.

Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. Barber & Beauty Institute of New York admissions officers assist in completing a payment agreement during enrollment. We directly assist by offering an installment plan to defray tuition costs over the length of the course.

The Barber & Beauty Institute of New York has three class schedules available:

Morning: 8am-1pm (am),

After noon: 1pm-6pm (pm), Evening:

6pm-10pm (evening)

Courses are based on clock hours and not semester.
